NBHA Membership: $62.00* annual membership
Non-member day fee: $10.00*
Spring Bling Race Series Entry: $50.00* (March, April, May, & June)

NBHA Dist. 17 Rules to Remember:

1.    CASH ONLY AT RACES.

2.    Must be a NBHA member in good standing: membership and knowing rules is your responsibility.  If your membership is expired and you race, your points will not be counted at that race even if you have already accumulated points.  If you win cash you will be asked to return it so we can award it to a member in good standing. NO EXCEPTIONS – membership is your responsibility. 

3.    We offer day passes for $10.00 per person, no points will be awarded.

4.    Must wear jeans and boots. No tennis shoes.  We waive the long sleeve shirts and hats dresscode at our races.

5.    You must maintain reasonable control of your horse.  Please show respect at the arena.  Do not use the gate to stop your horse you will be liable to fix it or any other damage you or your horse cause.

6.    Please clean up after yourself, don’t leave your trash or clean your trailer out at arena grounds. We are fortuntate to have a beautiful facility to run at and remember it is a residence!  Please help us by cleaning up after yourself. If you have a horse that paws or digs, please consider parking outside in the field across the way.

TO QUALIFY FOR YEAR END AWARDS

1.    Must sell $50 raffle tickets and turn in tickets before the first rider at our June 19 race, tickets will be available at the April race.

2.    You must be a District 17 member in good standing.

3.    Points are given out to the top 5 members in each division.  5pts to 1st, 4pts to 2nd, etc. In the case of a tie, the higher point is awarded to both members and the next place is skipped.

4.    Year end ties of the season will be awarded to the member:

1.    with the most higher placings.

2.    With the fastest average ( times in the division, only )

3.    With the fastest time ( time in the division, only )

4.    If there is still a tie after all tie breakers….. and an agreement cant be reached then we will have a run off at a time and date arranged by the District Director.

   For the new members the rules for running for awards is that  you can run in only one district for year end awards.  You must declare the district you are choosing to run in and send a form into national, If you are not living in the district area you are choosing to run for year end  awards ,  you can run for just money at any NBHA sanctioned race.

YOUTH RIDERS:

Must be 18 yrs old or younger as of January 1, 2010.

PEE WEE RIDERS

Must be 7 yrs old or younger as of January 1, 2010

Must wear a helmet.

Must be a NBHA member

Must run in 4 races to qualify for buckle.

 SPRING BLING  BUCKLE SERIES RULES

1.    Must be a NBHA member in good standing, no day passes.

2.    Average is on 4 runs – Open go at March, April, May, June races

3.    Must run in at least 3 runs to qualify for buckle.

4.    Horse and rider combination average.

5.    Tie breakers, same  #4 tie breakers.
